A Random Laugh

I read a encouraging Psalm this morning that I thought I would share.

Psalm 55:22

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall.

I have been blessed to get to know a few good men in a job that I never thought I would ever dream of. I have been given the opportunity to pass some insight on to a few people here and there. What ceases to amaze about this is every time that I talk to someone that is going though a hard situation or is dealing with a mountain and are trying to climb over it my first thought is "How can I help this person over this mountain." Then is hits me....( and it has hit me several times)

I have one responsibility to the people that I talk too...To speak God's truth, share his faithfulness in my life and remind them of His faithfulness in their lives (while at the same time reminding myself of that very faithfulness; that is a bonus), and assure them that God has not gone anywhere and loves them dearly.

I do not know why I try to help in any other way than that...I do not know about you but I get overwhelmed when I am trying to figure out their situation for them...it is exhausting and for the most part fruitless...

Everything inside me wants to give them all the secrets and tricks to getting through and if I am thinking that I cannot imagine what God thinks when He sees His children suffer. There in lies the beauty of how God works. Get ready to see how God works in you and those people who come to you...It is unreal!

Seek wise council in those you speak to but remember where the wisdom comes from...

He yearns to hear from you...
