Scary huh

I am not sure where my heart is right now. I want to write to you about victory and triumph but my heart is trying to say something completely different. I want to remind you that you are loved by something so much greater than yourself but my heart is trying to weigh me down. I want you to know that God's grace is bigger than any mistake that you could possibly imagine; my heart is at peace. Jesus Christ dieing for our sins is so much more powerful than how we feel, His truth is sharper than any knife and will pierce the thickest of lies.

In a time of uncertainty and chaos know that He is right in the middle of it...

2 Thess 2

13But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth. 14He called you to this through our gospel, that you might share in the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Deep Breath

Its Monday, life starts again.

The noise of busyness is loud.

This is my view of the deep breath before the craziness.

Listen to this. There was a speaker that came and was a porn director that found Jesus. He was at a convention in LA (yes they we have gotten to the point of porn conventions), and there was a booth there that said "Jesus Loves Pornstars". In that booth were a stack of bibles and several pastors just talking to people. Thats not all; the pastors wives were in the back putting make-up on the go go dancers...

Why should I be surprised with this when Jesus hung out with prostitutes.

There will always be light in the darkest places of the world!

LA

There was a statistic about this city that I heard that was frightening.  There were more people killed in gang wars in LA County last year then the war in Iraq. Why isn't that on the news? Think about it...
